iPhoto Print Products

I didn't know that!

I swear I didn’t know about iPhoto Print Products until today!

I don’t know why Windows users grow to hate Mac users, or why is there a silly war in the first place. I use both Mac and Windows, the reason I prefer Mac (right, hate me if you want, throw stones at me if you wish, I love my iMac, and not going to shy away from admitting it!) is the stability and speed of applications.

The constant fears of having the working applications shut down when using Windows, are mounting up to become an enormous stress when working on giant files which I run all the mega design applications at the same time.

It’s not just the sleek look (although, seriously, Mac machine is indeed a beauty!) or whatever imaginary class people are tagging with Mac. Remember, a lot of times, these are the unique selling point, in a psychological strategy, to buyers. We may not feel the same away, so give me a break and DO NOT leave silly fiery comments debating about the bad of Mac, and whatsoever.

I am most probably suffering from a darn migraine that refuses to go away despite a night’s sleep, so instead of doing up a proper layout for my shop’s monthly specials, I just use iPhoto’s layout of the selected images (below).

Then, I finally see the ‘book’ on the left panel, I believed I had seen that a thousand times, but had chosen to ignore it all this while. Strangely, the migraine must be poking the ‘right’ nerves today, and I consciously (or unconsciously) decide to click on it to see what exact was that.

Holy cow! It’s a book template, something that looks so familiar to what I was starring at for the past few days while doing the travel book!

I checked out the iPhoto website and I think the prices are reasonably affordable (but I think blurb is still offering the best rates), can’t comment on quality yet, since I have not used the service. The binding definitely looks a lot better than Blurb, because the spine of the book is bound with headband and stick to the spinal strip, just like any good quality book from the bookstore.

Also, they have a feature of inserting a customized map of the places you traveled to, how neat is that!

I would have printed with Blurb for the travel book, even if I had found out about the iPhoto book earlier, because my travel book was a whopping 158 pages thick and iPhoto book has a cap of max. 100 pages.

That would however, meet my needs if I were to print my product book. Oh well, it’s good to have more options.
